Sometimes to get something worth while you need to put effort, or money, into it. Buying a carpet cleaner is not something I would consider with how frugal we are trying to be right now. However, I think with two kids and one on the way, and two large dogs it would be a good investment. We decided to keep the blue area rug that is in Maddy’s room, and for the price of a new area rug I can get this. The play room carpet probably needs cleaned the most. It gets the most wear and tear, and is where Kate and the dogs spend most of their time at home. It is stained and beyond spot cleaning. The other area rugs in our home would really benefit. So, with hubby’s permission, I think we will be making this investment and I think it will really pay in the long run. We bought a new house a year ago and this was a must on my list of things to buy. We bought a hoover carpet cleaner and it has been the best investment! We have 5 children and host a lot of Adult Bible Fellowship functions at our house. We have had children accidently make a stain on the carpet and I always say, “no big deal, that is why we bought our carpet cleaner.” I used to rent one so I have saved the family from spending $20 every few months to clean carpets. Happy cleaning!
not to mention the savings of getting a professional cleaner to come in!!
This seems like a really smart move for you. Hope it works out great!
